Welcome to Maison de Lueur!
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Mahaley Smith, and I created Maison de Lueur in 2023. For those of you who may have seen me before, from my previous brand, 212Luxe, welcome back! And thank you for sticking around through my ups and downs đź©·
Like I was saying, I had a brand, 212Luxe, that I created in 2018. Kind of similar to this one, yet there was no target audience and no alignment. I started with candles and I instantly launched into bath and body care as a response to a bigger chain company not having what I wanted; skincare that actually moisturized and candles that didn’t smell like cake.

The response to my products was amazing: being featured in blogs, vlogs, sponsoring swag bags for other companies, store placement and consistent website sales, all taking off in one year!
I moved to Atlanta, Ga in 2020 and took my brand with me. I had no idea the love and support I would receive there. I felt like I was finally becoming a confident business owner! But I wasn’t too confident in my brand. The word “Luxe” became trendy, which made me feel like I was being trendy. I don’t want a trendy brand, I want to create a household name. So the name had to change. I also graduated from esthetician school (hey Elaine Sterling!) and decided skincare services and clinical skincare products were also going to be a part of my brand. So what could I call my new baby, my new start.. what’s a name that I will say proudly and everyone will know?Â
(Pronounced mayzon de luair) it means house of glow en Francais. It encompasses what I want to convey, a glow, inside and out, because skincare is not just what you put on your skin, it’s about what you put in your body, it’s about your daily routine, it’s about how you treat yourself all around. So Maison is not just about skin, it’s about self. Welcome, to your self care oasis 🩷
